Setting a Custom Welcome Message

Welcome new members with a legendary welcome message.

Good to know: By default welcome messages are disabled.

Important: A welcome channel must also be set to enable welcome messages.

Syntax: <> = required, [] = optional

Setting a Welcome Channel

Lets say you want to welcome all new members that join your server with a custom message from the gods, you can do this by fist setting a welcome channel where all welcome messages will be sent to.

Setting the welcome channel is fairly simple just type b!setwelcomechannel <#yourchannel>.

Reminder: Replace <#yourchannel> with your desired channel of choice.

Welcoming New Members

Now that we have set the welcome channel we can now set our custom welcome message!

Lets say I want to welcome all new members asking them to read the rules & what number member they are to join the server.

type b!setwelcomemessage Welcome ?member, to Bastet Support Server. You are the ?size to join. Please read the rules and enjoy our server!

Important:

You can use ?member to substitute for a user mention.

You can use ?username to subtitute for someone's username.

You can use ?tag to substitute for someone's full Discord Tag (username + discriminator).

You can use ?size to substitute for your server's current member count.
